Here are some photos of the Raku workshop, the potters and the pots. Five days of making and firing (16-20 July). 14 people, 2 days making and two days firing. One day glazing etc and making a Shopping Basket Kiln. Two top-hat ceramic fibre kilns were fired at once and loaded and unloaded alternately. The smaller one was built the week before using my garden fence for the structure.

These are a few of the great pots made during the week. These are by Colin, Tanya, Sally F and Shannon. The pears have nichrome wire stalks made from the offcuts from kiln building. The cups and saucers were made using the vegetation around the firing area.
