Robin Day Steam Engine Seats. London New Year’s Parade

The London New Year’s Day Parade snaked around Piccadilly, Pall Mall and Whitehall yesterday, an exotic mix of old fashioned floats from the London Boroughs, vintage vehicles and American high school marching bands – plus donkeys, clowns, Pearly Kings and Queens…

A group of miniature steam engines driven and ridden down Whitehall by an assortment of eccentrics revealed these novel reworkings of the classic Robin Day / Hille polypropylene chair.
